Queen are one of the greatest rock bands of all time and are still very popular today pulling crowds of up to 350,000 in 2008 when performing with lead singer Paul Rodgers in the Ukraine.
Their songs are truly outstanding and timeless, and yet since the tragic loss of Freddie Mercury the band has struggled to rekindle the true magic of their live shows. Even though the remaining Queen members are fabulous world class musicians, they are incomplete without Freddie. I believe Adam Lambert could be that special guy who has the x-factor needed to put Queen back on the charts.
He could perform all of their greatest hits and probably inspire a world tour and new live album or remixed studio album that could take Queen into the number one position again and rank them as the worlds top selling rock band. An amazing live act is always the way to make massive record sales and Queen could still sell out stadiums worldwide, just like Michael Jackson would have if he had toured last year.
I reckon if we get enough people blogging and we beg Queen and Adam to get together, then they might see the potential and do it for the fans. Queen and Adam together could make rock history once again and stun the world with their live shows.
Come on guys, let us know what you think.
From a lifetime Queen fan, and Adam Lambert follower.
